After many years of discussions with the Swedish bureaucracy, it was ready, a true licence for legal distillation

It all began 10 years ago, and it was almost a magic moment in 2000, when the family father Jan Florin was able to pour the first mash into the machine ”Oskar” and then hit the heating trails. Slowly the mash was heated up to the right temperature, and the very first drops of spirits trickled out of the column pipe. After many years of discussions with the Swedish bureaucracy and an unspecified number of pleas later, it was ready, a true licence for legal distillation. Approvals from no less than seven authorities were required.
